Puluc, also called Boolik, Bul or Buul, is a two-player running fight game that originated in Central America. The rules can vary widely depending on local adaptations. This adaptation has been created to reflect the computer opponent with some hidden twists.

The aim is to capture the computers pieces or block them from moving. The players pieces move in the opposite direction to the computer. This direction is maintained whereby a piece exits the end of the board and re-enters at the beginning, all in one move.

Once a piece has left the home position it can be captured and converted to the opposite colour.
The playing board is made up of 9 playing columns. A column will be blocked to the opponent if there are two or more pieces resident. When a players piece lands on top of one of its own pieces, that piece returns to its home position.

Touch anywhere on the bottom half of the screen, other than the reset button, to activate the dice. The dice has values 1,2,3,4 & 5, which determine the column move position.
Touch any piece to make it jump to the column determined by the dice value. This will only occur if it is a valid move.

The game ends when a player is unable to move a piece, or when all their pieces have been captured.
The game score is derived from the number of pieces remaining on the board.

Statistics are maintained for 10 sets. Each set comprises 10 games.
Points are awarded accordingly:- Win: 10 points plus score difference, Draw: 5 points, Lose: Minus score difference, Reset: Minus 10 points - A button is provided for resetting the current game.

All statistics can be reset from the settings page. The Game Number and Set number will be reset when the dice is activated.

Game Center is supported - Leaderboard displays the players highest score for a 10 game set. Achievements are awarded for 6,7,8,9 & 10 wins in a 10 game set. These can be viewed via the Settings screen if a player is signed-in to Game Center.

A text field is provided for a player to enter their name.
